My law practice concentrates on estate planning, special needs planning and estate administration. I am committed to providing clients with quality legal services and personal attention to help them develop estate plans that protect minor children and/or assets, anticipate changing needs, and are tax efficient. My services include:
- Estate planning including wills, trusts, Powers of Attorney and living wills
- Special needs planning and special needs trusts
- Estate administration
- Basic elder law services such as uncontested guardianship, health care planning, Social Security planning, and retirement benefits
I founded my practice in 2018 to combine financial savvy and sound estate planning techniques to benefit clients. My professional experience includes two years working for an accounting firm as a tax consultant and years of litigating customer arbitration claims brought against investment firms. This gave me firsthand knowledge of the consequences of inadequate financial planning and investment and legal advice.
Serving individuals, families and retirees in Montgomery and Bucks Counties, I approach clients’ estate planning, special needs planning and estate administration matters with care and compassion based on a thorough understanding of the legal and financial issues at stake and personal experience as a special needs parent.
I bring substantial legal and financial experience to the table to help meet clients’ estate planning needs; handling wills, trusts, special needs planning and estate administration. My legal experience spans over 15 years of practice – including years of litigating arbitration claims brought by customers who suffered investment losses – and my financial experience includes two years working as a tax consultant for a multinational accounting firm.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan. I received both a law degree and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University. I am a member of the Montgomery Bar Association, Montgomery County Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association. I am admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
I reside with my family in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. As a parent of a child with special needs, I have firsthand knowledge of and experience with the unique circumstances that a family with special needs faces when planning for the future.
